With a distinguished career spanning both academia and the marketplace, Thom brings a unique blend of professional expertise and deep Christian ministry experience to his work in spiritual direction.
As a retired faculty member, Thom has served in both full-time and adjunct appointments at several academic institutions, specializing in healthcare operations, management, and leadership, with a particular focus on international healthcare delivery. His background also includes leadership roles within faith-based, for-profit, and not-for-profit healthcare organizations, equipping him with a wealth of experience in navigating complex systems while upholding Christian values.
Thom holds a doctorate and a master’s degree in health administration from Central Michigan University, along with a Bachelor of Science from Wayne State University. His professional achievements, combined with a lifelong commitment to ministry, uniquely position him to guide men in integrating faith with leadership, work, and personal growth.
Thom is a dedicated spiritual director, published author, conference speaker, and executive coach. He currently serves at Park Cities Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Dallas, Texas, where he is actively involved in the Men’s Care Ministry, walking alongside men as they deepen their faith, public and private integrity, find spiritual renewal, and pursue Christ-centered lives.
